issues and advocacy in the Ottawa area. What do we mean by advocacy? - Responsible
trail riding - Working with
local land managers to secure access to trails - Volunteering
time to do trail maintenance work - Promoting
mountain biking as an excellent recreational and fitness activity What can you do? - Join OMBA.
Membership numbers are important when presenting proposals to government
organizations - Participate in
trail maintenance days - Follow IMBA’s
Rules of the trail What more can you do? - Become involved in one of the area committees: - Gatineau Park - Camp Fortune - South March Highlands (Kanata) - NCC Green Space If you want to see something happen in one of these areas (or anywhere else), join us and get involved in the area that interests you. Why Should You Join OMBA? If you love mountain biking, then trail access is important to you - and OMBA is working for you. We welcome your support, so join us as we make Ottawa a better place to ride our bikes.
