OMBA is happy to report that this spring’s early thaw has resulted in the South March Highlands trails now supporting rider traffic.
Please be mindful however that even on the dry trails, some small, vulnerable sections require your attention. Please DO NOT go around muddy or wet sections, as this widens the trails and/or leads to the creation of un-sustainable side trails. Instead, ride/walk straight through at low speed.
Also, please consider potentially rapid changing weather conditions at this time of year – significant rainfall (or snow) could quickly deteriorate trail conditions.
