DESCRIPTION:2025 OMBA AVMO Camp Fortune Social Enduro\n Camp Fortune\, Chemin Dunlop\, Chelsea\, QC\, Canada\n\nSeptember 6 2025 – September 7 2025 \n\n\nSign ups are now open and close September 1st \n\n\n\n\n\nWe are back once again for the 2025 OMBA Social Enduro.\nThe race weekend takes place on September 6-7\, 2025\, with practice on Saturday\, and racing on Sunday. As we’ve done every year\, there are some new features for the event we’re excited to share. Full Cycle has once again stepped up as a key sponsor for the event\, as have Camp Fortune and Studio Signs.\n\nCome out after practice\, or grab a drink on the Fortune patio – the restaurant will be open both days on the weekend.\n\nOVSAR is back again to provide medical and logistic support for the event. They’re a great partner for the event\, and a portion of the event proceeds go to them as a thank you for their work.\n\nWe are once again capping the event at 120 riders\, so be ready to register and watch the OMBA socials to know when registration is opening.\n\nYou will need to have a current OMBA membership to participate\, so have your member number ready in order to complete your registration. If you are not yet a member\, visit the OMBA members page and sign up now – you will not be able to register for the race without a membership. You will also need to have a valid Camp Fortune trail pass.\n\nWe’re opening up a total of six classes for the event\, using three different courses. Every class is a $100 entry.\n\nHere’s a quick description of what to expect.\n\nPro category – Expect a 25-30km day\, with seven stages. Be capable riding any trail at Fortune in any weather.\n\nExpert category – Expect a 18-22km day\, with about five stages. In 2023\, the hardest trail we used was Lower Oz\, though we may not push you that hard this year.\n\nSport category – Expect a 10-15km day\, covering four stages. Be comfortable on Black Bear and Salamander.\n\nWe know you’re excited to race\, but we’re also keeping the focus of the event on the fun. We will be having a variety of activities apart from the race stages themselves to help keep things entertaining. This isn’t only about who stands on top of the podium. SUMMARY:SMH Trail Days
DESCRIPTION:Come join us this weekend to hopefully finish the new trail out to Terry Fox.\nNo experience is required. We sign student volunteer sheets. Sturdy footwear\, leather work gloves\, and long pants are recommended. We provide the tools\, work gloves\, bug repellent\, tunes\, drinks\, snacks\, and know-how.\nThe current meeting point is the St Isabel Elementary Catholic School\, at the corner of Terry Fox Drive and Goulbourn Forced Road. Please arrive a few minutes early\, as we may be working on multiple spots this Saturday.\nAny cancellations or updates will be posted on this event no later than 8am the morning of the trail day.
