Typically riders in this group frequent P1 and P7 or P4 and are building their skills by observing other riders or looking for more of a social ride.\nThe Ride: These rides will typically focus on all features and may session some key areas depending on audience and duration of daylight. \nA Group:\nRide Leader: Self lead\nLevel: Advanced Rider\nExpectation: Typical A Group riders are capable of riding both P1 and P7 trails relatively quickly with little to no breaks in the allotted time without overextending themselves. Since this is the most advanced group of riders ride leaders will be prioritized for the other groups so some weeks this ride may be consider “self lead”\nThe Ride: These rides will be driven by the group but will typically explore more trails with the expectation of reasonable pace the full ride with short\, quick stops.

DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re new to downhill or a seasoned pro\, come join us for an evening of riding\, new friends and good times. We will be loading our bikes on the chairlift – no pedalling required!\n\nWe’re changing it up a bit for the 2nd edition of this event! You can participate 2 different ways:Option 1: Take a second to fill out this form to reserve a spot in one of our group rides to explore the trails! We’ll get you signed up in a group with other riders of a similar skill level. https://tinyurl.com/muza9kn2Option 2: Just meet up with other riders and ride the trails on your own!\nEither way\, please RSVP on this event so we can get an overall estimate of how many people will attend \n\nAfter riding\, we will all meet in the parking lot to hang out and connect – bring your own snacks\, but we will have a few drinks available .\n\nWe’ll meet in the Skyline parking lot at the OMBA tent. Be ready to ride at 4:30pm! Lift passes are required\, and are available for purchase in the Skyline chalet.\n\nMore information about the group rides:We will have ride groups for all levels! Note that there is no easy way down at Camp Fortune. Their trails are very technical compared to other trails in the region. While you do not need to have experience riding Camp Fortune trails to attend the event\, you should be comfortable riding blue trails and riding some rocky features. If you like rocks\, you’re in luck! Camp Fortune has lots of them. Our goal is to make this a fun\, positive and supportive evening that will leave you feeling accomplished and connected with other female riders. This event is a judgement free zone where we will ride the trails at a pace that works for you.\n\nWhat should you bring?• Protective gear: Helmets are mandatory! While a full face helmet is not mandatory\, it is recommended. Elbow and knee pads are strongly recommended too\, and if you have a back protector\, put that on too!• A signed waiver: Please make sure you bring a signed copy of our waiver if you’re not a current OMBA member. For members\, your waiver is taken care of as part of the registration. Waivers to download can be found at: https://ottawamba.org/day-pass-waiver/• Tools: Camp Fortune has some rough terrain! Riders should bring some tools and a spare tube with them – but no need to bring them on the ride. If anything happens we will head down to the parking lot and help you out.\n\nA note about the weather:A weather cancellation will be decided by 2PM on the day of the event.
