OMBA Trailer Campaign

A mountain bike association relies on a wide range of tools and equipment to build, maintain, and improve local trails, and a dedicated trailer is the backbone of that work. Our current tool trailer—originally acquired used—is reaching the end of its service life as a mobile unit, with the frame showing significant wear and holes from years of heavy use. This trailer has long served as our primary mobile workshop for the South March Highlands, ensuring our crew has everything they need for every maintenance session.

As we prepare to transition this aging unit to a permanent role as stationary tool storage for another trail site, we are launching a fundraiser to replace our mobile unit. Our goal is to invest in a slightly larger trailer equipped with a side door, which will significantly improve efficiency by allowing easy access to equipment stored at the front. A reliable, road-worthy replacement is essential to ensure our volunteers can continue to transport trail-building tools, signage, and equipment to the South March Highlands and other networks across the region. This upgrade will streamline our maintenance days, support community events, and ensure our crew remains equipped to keep our trails sustainable and enjoyable for all riders.
