South March Highlands
- Location: Main trail head at Second line and Klondike Rd. in Kanata @ at 6:30 pm
Kanata is technical, so get ready to love some roots and rocks, but all levels welcome, and there will be two groups based on speed/technical ability.
Camp Fortune Intro Rides
If you are an intermediate or aspiring intermediate rider looking to up your game and take on some rocks and roots, this is the ride for you! You must have a Camp Fortune ride pass to participate in this ride. We’ll split into groups based on number of ride leaders and attendance.
Limerick Group Season Kick Off Ride
All ride levels. These trails dry out first in the Ottawa area, so it is always worth the drive early in the season to bike on the singletrack. Beginner singletrack–flowy, sandy, with some climbing. We’ll be breaking up into groups based on skill level and pace. Carpooling will be arranged via email/Facebook. This ride will be followed by a tailgate party in the parking lot and gear swap/sell. Bring something throw on the BBQ and snacks to share!
Larose Group Rides
All ride levels. Larose is fun, flowy and sandy, with minimal elevation. Mosquitoes and weather permitting, folks are encouraged to stay for a picnic lunch. Note that you must be an OMBA member to ride Larose.
Mont St. Marie
We will split into a minimum of 2 groups. Expected ride length: 2 hours. A base level of fitness is required for this ride, as MSM is gloriously hilly. Bring your lunch and a bathing suit (if you’re brave :))!
