The Ottawa Mountain Bike Association (OMBA) was founded in the summer of 2005 with the intent of securing continued mountain biking access in the South March Highlands Conservation Area (SMH).

Since OMBA’s inception we have worked  with the land owners and stake holders in the region on trail access, gradually growing into the role of the voice for mountain bikers in the Ottawa area.

In 2012 OMBA incorporated as a Not for Profit organization to meet the requirements of the City of Ottawa for joint stewardship of the SMH trail network. We host weekly group rides, events including movie nights, trail building workshops and trail maintenance days and a Social Enduro to name a few.
