KM of Trail: 2.9
Description: Flowy open rock barren riding with some rock rolls and drops and beautiful views of Canadian shield landscape.
Fees: Free. OMBA membership ($30/year individual) helps pay to maintain these trails.
Best For: Strong intermediate and advanced riders seeking technical challenges and good flow; early spring riding when other locations are still too muddy to ride.
Winter Use: Winter riding results in compacted snow on trails which is slower to melt in the spring. To ensure the earliest possible spring opening of this trail, OMBA recommends riding elsewhere.
Rules & Restrictions: There is very limited parallel parking available roadside on Thomas Dolan Parkway. You risk a fine if you park outside the designated areas. No dogs permitted.
Trail Closures: Trail closed to all users from day after Victoria Day until August 15th inclusive to protect nesting birds and turtles. Signs are posted at trailheads and notice is posted on Facebook and Trailforks.
