The MTB Chicks is a fun and informal mountain biking group for women of all ages and skill levels.

The MTB Chicks is a subgroup of OMBA, so it is included in your membership. It is a great way for riders to improve your riding and confidence in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.  Whether you are looking for some new friends to ride with, want to get more confident on the bike, or just explore new areas, you are welcome to join. All womxn are welcome in this group and on our rides. We welcome trans womxn, genderqueer womxn, and non-binary people. The more people enjoying mountain biking the better!

Limerick Group Ride

Date/Time: TBD

All ride levels

Meet at 10:15 at the Pit to start riding at 10:30 am

These trails dry out first in the Ottawa area, so it is always worth the drive early in the season to bike on the singletrack. Beginner singletrack–flowy, sandy, with some climbing. We’ll be breaking up into groups based on skill level  and pace. Carpooling will be arranged via email/Facebook. This ride will be followed by a tailgate party in the parking lot and gear swap/sell. Bring something throw on the BBQ and snacks to share!

Larose Group Ride

  • Meet at 10:45 at the Pavilion on Indian Creek Road to start riding at 11:00 am

Camp Fortune Enduro Ride

Come dip your toe into the Enduro side of Fortune. This will be a rollicking intro to Enduro day with rocks roots, and maybe even some drops/jumps –and definitely some laughs!

We will split into a minimum of 2 groups (intermediate and advanced). Expected ride length: 2 hours. A base level of fitness is required for this ride, as MSM is gloriously hilly.
